Lily soon to be 3 year old female unaltered Great Dane. Prefer a contract to get her fixed as I don't wish her to go to a BYB. She is up to date on everything. Needs a rabies in Sept. She prefers woman and doesn't mind older children. She is around smaller children but tires of them quickly and leaves the room and doesn't want to be bothered. Hasn't bit but I've always taken every precaution to make sure it never gets that far. Must be the only dog in the house. She is spoiled (my fault) and prefers all the attention. She is fine with other dogs as long as she is alpha. She is a very active dog and loves car rides, walks and jogging. Loves ... (Read More)to cuddle and loves to be glued by your side. Does fine with the 2 cats we have but not sure about cats she never met. She is Potty trained. There are several reasons we are re homing: we have 6 dogs and have a dog limit were we just moved. We do not have the ability to get a kennel set up this year which would allow the number of dogs we have. She has also been getting very jealous of the other dogs and children. If we had a proper kennel she would have a place to go for quiet time. I do not want it to ever get to the point she will bite. We have a very active household and Im noticing she doesn't like it. She prefers a quiet, only dog home preferably with a woman. So for her best interest we are looking for a great home. We are located in Feura Bush, Ny near Albany. $200 Neg to right home (Less)

Brewster(big b) has been a great best friend for myself and my 8 year old son! He has been with us since he was 4 months old. He has protected us from burglars, and the neighbors aggressive dogs. He got between my son and 2 other dogs so i could grab my son. We have to move into an apartment that doesn't take large dogs or danes. I need to find a nice and loving home for Brewster to spend his remaining years.

Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
