|Rescue Me ID: 16-09-18-00508Reggie (female)|
Reggie came from the Gallup area. She was found very emaciated and in pain. She is a 70 lb dog and she was so thin that she weighed 30. She had a fractured pelvis and femur. She also had been shot and had shrapnel in her leg. The vet said it is amazing that she took so much pain for so long. Unfortunately her leg was beyond repairing so had to be amputated. She seems to be getting along fine, though, without it and has adjusted to walking, running, etc. Although she has been through a lot, she is very affectionate with people. She is good with dogs and needs another dog in the home that will keep her company and play with her a little bit. She is housebroken and not destructive. She is well behaved and understands basic commands. She does love stuffed animals. She is a great dog and would be a wonderful addition to any family. She is around 2 yrs old. Her foster mom says she is a very good dog: a really, really good dog!! She is simply--The Best. She is an absolutely fantastic dog!!!! Contact Trish at 505-907-3791 or email email@example.com (Less)

Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in New Mexico if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
