Very sweet female Great Dane. She is a little leary of men at first but loves women and children. She was dumped out in the country and we found her. We have other dogs and she gets along great with them. She is the blond color.

|Rescue Me ID: 16-10-11-00569Tipsy (male)|
Current on vaccinations - 3 year rabies shot given in July 2016 He likes to snuggle at night. Very high anxiety and does not do well in confined spaces. Would do best as an only dog in the house, we have other dogs in the house and he is ok with them but plays rough and doesn't know when to stop. Also should not be in a house with small children or someone that can't handle getting jumped on. He is house broken but will sneak to an unoccupied room and have an accident occasionally. Likes to run and play in the yard but does not do well on a leash. Also does not like to ride in a car. Know a few basic commands and is food motivated. He requires more care and training than we are able to provide. He needs a home that knows big dogs and has time/resources to put toward additional training. (Less)

|Animal ID: 16-08-03-000402Kylo (male)|
Kylo is a loving, friendly boy. He weighs about 85 pounds. He is beautiful, this picture doesn't do him justice. He would love to be a lap dog. He is also very cuddly to sleep with. We have been fostering him for about 6 months, but because of our situation, we can't for much longer. He is kennel trained, but because of his first parent leaving him in a heavy plastic kennel for hours at a time, he really would rather be in an enclosure he can see out of that will leave him room to move for small amounts of time, or not be kenneled. He is good with people, but can be kind of a klutz. He doesn't really understand cats; he met our cat for the first time 6 months ago. He loves to play with other dogs and his person or people, or can just be mellow with his family. Readily shares water bowl, will share his food with his 'sister'. I have had no problems with aggression with food bowl or treats. He takes food very gently from our hand; I've never even been nipped. Ky would be a very good dog for someone with a large space for him and a high fence, since he can be a bit of an escape artist. He's very intelligent, very loyal and loving. If I had the option, I would keep him. (Less)

Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
