Rescue Me ID: 16-05-04-00159Jake (male)
Jake arrived here after being thrown out on the streets. He is a very shy gentle fella, that needs a chance at a loving family. He was heartworm positive when he arrived, but has gone through treatment (over $500), and is now negative. We have him on the books to be neutered soon.

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-01-00381James (male)
James is a two year old lab Dane mix. He weighs around fifty pounds. He is very sweet and has grown up at the shelter. He is heart worm negative. He is good with dogs and kids. Since he has been at the shelter he hasn't been around cats but he would most likely be fine with them. He is scared of the water house because he is sprayed with it when he gets his kennel washed out. He is so loving and wants to loved on.

He is between one and two years old. He is low energy much of the time preferring to lounge around. He loves to play with his foster siblings. He is kennel trained and knows the tricks sit, down, and stay. He absolutely loves meal time every morning and evening. He basically ignores most cats and does not bark frequently. He is a well mannered young boy.

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-25-00136Nila (female)
This sweet girl is about 2 years old, about 60 to 70 lbs, and is playful. She is bouncy and loveable. She likes to be outside to chew on sticks and romp around with her foster brother. Her favorite times of day are breakfast and dinner... she loves to eat her Fromm doggy food. She knows the commands sit, down, and stay, especially when awaiting her dinner. Contact me if interested in adopting.

Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Mississippi if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
