Dexter is a large 2year old male Great Dane. Would make a great watch dog and companion to someone with no children or other dogs. He is CKC registered and is not neutered.

|Animal ID: 29777764Al (male)|
Al is a beautiful 5-yr. old male Great Dane/Catahoula Cur mix. He has had all his shots, is microchipped, and already neutered. Although heartworm positive, he can be easily treated with Heartguard and doxycycline. He is the best of both breeds and would make an excellent companion or family pet.

|Rescue Me ID: 15-10-26-00865Delilah (female)|
[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Delilah is a great dog, but we haven't had time to give her the attention she needs for a few years now. We purchased her from her breeder at 7 weeks. Our oldest daughter was 3 (now 10) when we got Delilah, and we have had another daughter since (now 5) and Delilah has been great with both of them. We have a cat that she sometimes tries to go after, but is obedient when we tell her 'no.' She is on medication for her incontinence, and it has helped immensely. She will need to be inside much of the day because she likes being around people, but also have access to a large yard where she can run. We have two other dogs and she has always done well with them, but gets nervous around dogs outside of her home (dogs she meets on walks or at places like PetSmart). (Less)

Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Louisiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
