Rescue Me ID: 17-03-12-00278Bald'r (male)
Baldr likes being around other dogs and enjoys the company of them. However, in his old age, he sometimes gets startled by them and wakes up a bit snappy until he realizes that its not a strange dog. He is quite skinny and is food protective so he needs to be fed somewhere he can feel the safety of knowing no one will try and take his food. He is so very shy with new people and tends to like women much more then men. He needs a place to feel safe for the last few years of his life. There is no adoption fee for this sweet senior.

Very sweet one and a half year old Great Dane. She's really sweet and very affectionate but timid at first. She's not good with other small dogs but does great with other large dogs. Good with kids above the age of 8. Has lots of energy but likes to sleep also.

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-27-00131Nala (female)
Nala is a Dane/Shepard mix that is around one and a half to two and half years old. She is wonderful with people and children. She is housebroken and listens very well to commands. She is fine with cats and with most dogs. She does not do well with dogs that are nervous or anxious. She does great with dogs that are rowdy and will play with her. She is a big girl and needs room to play but needs a fenced in yard. If you believe Nala would make the perfect addition to your family please contact us to fill out an application.

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-14-00454Boomer (male)
Meet Boomer! He is from a sister rescue. Boomer is sweet as sugar. He is very much still a puppy but can be a bit unsure of new surroundings, new people, and new dogs. However, it does not take him long to adjust and become all puppy and play. Boomer will need a home with another playful dog to lead him and play with. He does not like his crate but is okay when put in it. Crate and house broken. Not destrustive as long as he has plenty of things to play with, chew on, and daily exercise. Older kids would be best as he is still working on his manners and can easily bump a kid over. He needs a home that will continue his training and someone home most of the time. Hi my name is Boomer and I am looking for my forever home. I am crate trained and house trained. I don't like to be in my crate all the time and I have been known to escape. I never did this at rescue or other homes but when I am left alone I get anxious. I am awesome otherwise, I love kids, I get along with dogs and cats. My rescue believes that a home with a dog would be best so I have a buddy to play with. A fenced yard would be great too, or a few walks daily, so I can work off some energy. At the rescue I was able to stay in my crate 8 hours without escaping while they were at work. I am absolutely wonderful and love my people but I need a home that understands my past because it could take me some time to understand that my new home is my home, and my people are my people, since I have been shuffled. My rescue may even consider a trial run with you if you think I would be a good fit just to show you how awesome I am. My anxiety is decreasing and is definitely better with another dog around. I am up-to-date on all vaccinations, fixed and microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. So I am all set. If you are wanting to rescue me or want more info please contact my rescue, Like Home Animal Rescue, by the contact through here, Facebook or email firstname.lastname@example.org (Less)

Large male Harlequin Merle. Seven years old. Very large boy, almost two hundred pounds. He prefers a very laid back lifestyle. Is good with kids, but, prefers men and just wants to be a couch potato. Does have grain allergies, but, that is taken care of with his food. Please email of text if you have any questions.

Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
