Meet Merry'|..a 4 year old stunning Great Dane that acts like a big kid! She also doesn't realize she's deaf and loves to talk (probably because she can't hear herself barking!) Merry gets along with all people and other dogs, however, she's a bull in a china shop and doesn't realize her own size'|.so a home with small children wouldn't be ideal. She used to live with George, a 7 year old Bullmastiff that was rescued with her. George has found his forever home, so we are working hard to find one for our diva. Merry is so sweet and has a great personality, we know someone out there will love her! Merry loves to play with her toys and if ... (Read More)you are too tired to play, that is not a problem for her. She will throw her toys in the air and catch them all by herself. She also loves to lay on her dog pillow and chew on her chew bones or snuggle on the couch if you let her. Merry's ideal home would be to have human siblings that are older and would want to play with her, a mom that would like to take her on shopping trips in her fashionista style to show off, and a daddy to cuddle with. She would also love a big, fenced in back yard! Merry wouldn't mind a large easy going male dog like George was either. If you have a heart as big as Merry'|.she's the dog for you! She is playfully waiting in Lake Village Indiana for you. Please visit our website to fill out an adoption application if you are interested in Merry Christmas! (Less)

Great Dane Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Miss Kay is a tall girl, about 1-2 years old. She was signed over as a 'Pit mix,' but I don't see Pit in her. She looks more like a Great Dane/Coon Hound mix to me. She is VERY playful. She is smaller than a Dane, but larger than a Hound, & has a lean build. Current on DAPPL & Bordetella vaccines. Heartworm tested, dewormed, & will be microchipped at time of adoption.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Great Dane in Indiana
Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
