Great Dane Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Boomer! He is from a sister rescue. Boomer is sweet as sugar. He is very much still a puppy but can be a bit unsure of new surroundings, new people, and new dogs. However, it does not take him long to adjust and become all puppy and play. Boomer will need a home with another playful dog to lead him and play with. He does not like his crate but is okay when put in it. Crate and house broken. Not destrustive as long as he has plenty of things to play with, chew on, and daily exercise. Older kids would be best as he is still working on his manners and can easily bump a kid over. He needs a home that will continue his training and someone ... (Read More)home most of the time. Great Dane Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Hi my name is Boomer and I am looking for my forever home. I am crate trained and house trained. I don't like to be in my crate all the time and I have been known to escape. I never did this at rescue or other homes but when I am left alone I get anxious. I am awesome otherwise, I love kids, I get along with dogs and cats. My rescue believes that a home with a dog would be best so I have a buddy to play with. A fenced yard would be great too, or a few walks daily, so I can work off some energy. At the rescue I was able to stay in my crate 8 hours without escaping while they were at work. I am absolutely wonderful and love my people but I ... My rescue may even consider a trial run with you if you think I would be a good fit just to show you how awesome I am. My anxiety is decreasing and is definitely better with another dog around. I am up-to-date on all vaccinations, fixed and microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. So I am all set. PIease Read Before Adopting a Great Dane in Indiana
Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
