Idaho Saint Bernard Rescue accepted 2 Great Danes that had been intercepted from going to a kill shelter in CA. Joe and Lady's owner had passed away and had no one to take care of them. We have discovered that Lady is pregnant and due around the first week of June. Joe is the daddy. The vet advised there are approximately 7 puppies. The puppies will have their declaws removed, first set of shots, and come with a spay/neuter contract so you are NOT allowed to breed them. Mama is a Merle and daddy is almost all black. Apply to adopt at www.saintrescue.org. Adoption fee is $500. Potential adopters will need to fill out an adoption application at www.saintrescue.org. I will not be looking at apps until after Mama gives birth and I know how many there are and how many survive. Once I decide on the apps, a home check is done, and we also call veterinarians to ensure you have taken care of past and present animals. Anyone who wants a puppy has to be willing to drive to Boise, ID to pick up their puppy. I will not ship puppies, nor will I send them on transport. The adoption fee is $500 and due upon adoption. There will also be a spay/neuter contract, advising that you are not allowed to breed this puppy and must have the dog fixed between 18-24 months. I would love to fix all the puppies before the go to homes, but with giant breeds that doesn't work to fix them so early. So we put legal precautions in place. The puppies will have their dewclaws removed and their first set of shots. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 16-04-22-00364Chloe (female)|
Chloe is such a happy girl now. Dreams do come true. She hasn't always been so lucky to be safe and cared for. The bad part of her life is over now and we will make sure she is on her way to the wonderful life she deserves. Chloe is about 4 years old. She is absolutely beautiful and huge. :) She's definitely a gentle giant. She is partially deaf. We are all learning doggie sign together and Chloe is doing fantastic. Her eye sight may be just a bit impaired. She can sure keep an eye on her toys though. Since she has such sparkling blue eyes, some sun shades would be a good idea when she was playing outside. She loves to play. :) Chloe loves the water. She loves to drink out of the hose, chase the sprinkler and rain drops and play in every puddle she can find. Chloe loves to snuggle and she loves attention. A big soft bed and lots of chew bones are a must. Chloe would be better off being the only dog. She would do best in a home with no kitties or small children. Sometimes not being able to hear when someone comes from behind startles her. She needs to feel safe and she needs to learn to trust. We are absolutely crazy about this girl and she loves us too. She wiggles all over when she sees us. Chloe needs an inside home, a safe fenced yard and someone who is loving and patient to make her part of their family. Chloe is spayed, up on vaccinations and micro chipped. Please call Lorrie 208 339 0130 or email email@example.com for an application. (Less)

Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
