My grandparents have lived on a farm for the last 20 plus years, and they have always taken in any animal that wonders onto their property. Unfortunately, we lost my grandfather this year so my grandmother needs to sell the farm and move in with her sister. This little girl is her baby and never leaves her side. She lost one of her back legs when she was hit by a car as a puppy. Gets around just fine! Is used to having lots of land and being an indoor/outdoor dog. She's a big girl. Some kind of lab mix. He does have a skin allergy and has some small wounds from another dog trying to show dominance. I no longer have the resources needed to care for him and would like him to go to a good loving home. Liza is a one year old (just turned!) Great Dane mix that was surrendered by her owners when they couldn't pay her medical bills. She is a sweet and very energetic girl that would make a great running partner with all her youthful enthusiasm! Her foster family is working with her on basic obedience / leash training and that would need to continue in her new home. She is currently being fostered with an 8 yr old who she does well with, but her exuberance would probably be to much for younger kids. Adoption fee is $200. Keisel is 4, born 7/26/2011. She is CKC registered and chipped. She's a smaller Dane, only 98 lbs. two years ago we cropped her tail because she got 'happy tail'. She is a wonderful and loving dog. She has had some issues with smaller dogs. She must go to a home where she is the ONLY dog. Warning: she loves attention, expects you to allow her to love on you and will crawl into your lap if you aren't paying attention. We love her and do not want to let her go, but there are 4 little dogs in our household and cannot risk her having an altercation with one of them. Please call if you would like to meet her. Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
