|Rescue Me ID: 15-05-23-00528Bella (female)|
I rescued Bella from here. Unfortunately her previous owners were not forthcoming with the correct details about her. I had made it clear to them that I wanted her for a service dog and was told oh she will be good for that. I am unable to control her myself. She has broken out of the crate I got for her and ripped up a $500 leather sofa. Whomever adopts Bella will need a strong hand to walk and train her and a good creat! If you have a fenced in yard the fence needs to be higher than 5 feet cause we already know she can jump that. Bella was also severely under weight and neglected when I got her and we have put the weight back on her but she still needs lots of love. I would love if a rescue with a good foster home could take her but if not you need to know Bella is wonderful but does have puppy attitude. Please text the phone number or email. (Less)

Adorable 3 1/2 year old female Harlequin needing a loving forever home. Jersey weighs approximately 100 pounds, is crate trained, and house broken. She has never had any health issues and is up-to- date on all vaccinations. Jersey has always been shy and timid, but is very loving once she becomes comfortable with a person. |Animal ID: 6754Indyada (female)|
'Indyada' is a beautiful, registered just-turned 2 years old, mantle Great Dane. She has the most amazing personality and very loving, affectionate, and friendly. She is 31 inches tall. Completely crate trained and 100% house broke. She lives in the house but does enjoy running around on our horse farm. She is well socialized with horses, chickens, other dogs, cats, etc. She LOVES going for rides on the boat (she wears a little life vest because she likes to jump in without telling anyone) and she follows along beautifully on a trail ride on horseback. I take her jogging with me and she stays beside me with or without a leash. She is very child friendly and does not have a mean bone in her body. I am asking $700 for her and her things *cage is not included*. Please call or text 7069348622 to meet her. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Charles-Smithgall-Humane-Society-and-Adoption-Center/548822128495391 Buster-is a golden Great Dane mix who is the tallest dog in the shelter. He is a gentle boy who was pulled from impending euthanasia at the local Animal Control. His good fortune then went into a hold status as he waited day after day for someone to want a big boy in their life. He has been waiting 10 months. Buster is unable to draw any interest and has never had an inquiry or indication of interest by potential adopters. Before being picked up by Animal control, he was found walking along side a major highway. Knows basic commands and enjoys companionship of dogs and people. Child friendly. Buster arrived in March 2014. For additional information on this animal, adoption process/requirements and adoption fee, call the shelter administrative office at 706-865-4135 during operating hours of 10-4 Tue-Sat and 1-4 on Sun. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a 'No kill' shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines-deworming-vet exam-standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly prevention heart worm treatment. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquishments. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4. Contact or visit CSHS, 4823 Helen Hwy. 75N, Sautee, GA 30571, 706-865-4135. The shelter is located 3 miles south of the alpine town of Helen in the NE mountains. (Less)

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Great Dane in Georgia|
Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
