Rescue Me ID: 14-08-26-00372Fergus (male)

Great Dane    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Fergus is a great puppy! He's unfortunately spent as much time outside as inside, due to changes in our family. He's a very loving and laid back dog, and he gets along with EVERYONE! He is crate trained, and he loves to play outside. He's a big sleeper, and will lay around all day as long as someone is inside with him. If he's left alone in the house....well, he's a puppy :) If you'd like more information, please don't hesitate to ask.

Great Dane    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Pearl is an AWESOME 3 year old Great Dane. Unfortunately, we've had a lot of family (health) changes over the past several months, and we need to rehome our dogs. She has done well with the boy dogs at our house, but not so well with the girl dogs. Her favorite thing to do is curl up in a chair and sleep all day. She is crate trained. Ideally, Pearl will go to a home where she'll be an 'only child'. If you'd like more information, please don't hesitate to ask.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Great Dane in Alabama
Great Dane Dogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. The Great Dane is an enormous, but extremely gentle breed often referred to as the Gentle Giant. Great Danes are kind, loyal, and sociable. They need to be around people. Great Danes are gentle, devoted, and wonderful with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of their large size. Great Danes should be well trained as puppies. Great Danes can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise but do best with a large yard.
